Stayed at their Marcellus Shale housing- Bad choice in temporary housing! First off scheduling issues, I called and scheduled, the manager told me to text our info so I did. I never heard back so a couple of days later I called back. He didn't have us down so he said he wrote us in. When we arrived to the area, I called again, he didn't have us down! Said to give him a few hours and his cleaning lady would have us a spot ready! We arrived at the RV and the manager showed up with a key. While outside my husband got bit by something, the manager asked if it was bedbugs, we said we hadn't been in the bed, he said "don't bring them in our RV!"
We had been there a week and received a bill in my email saying our rent was due which we had paid the day before. I emailed him back saying we paid. He showed up at my door saying we owed and I told him we paid with a check in his box and he said he didn't receive it and would have to come by the office. When I got to the office he had my check but said we had been there 3 wks...no, we had been there one week. When I corrected him he said he was "glad I caught it"...I'mjust glad we didn't pay cash with no way to track it!
Obviously traveling we needed to use the bathroom, go in and lift the lid and there are pee spots all over the seat! We stayed 2 weeks...hint to the owner/ manager, spray for spiders and ants...after his comment about don't bring whatever bit my husband in, I killed several spiders and ants in the RV.

I have lived in the Blennerhassett RV park for 6 years, it is peaceful along the Ohio river it will be nice to stay here longer. I am sorry Dottie didn't enjoy her stay, I know several people who fish out of the Ohio River and consume it and are still very much alive! If she is worried about mecury it's also in the oceans, this is a campground not a five star hotel it offers you a place to park, you can do laundry, cook out, and be close to town, I have met several people made friends, it has changed for the better in most areas since I moved my camper here years ago, I live here year round an the season's are beautiful along the Ohio and watching the boat's going up and down the river is relaxing. There is so much to do or see here, so much history along the Ohio.
I love this place they have beautiful rv's and great place on the river bank to spend with your family camping.

The RV park itself isn't bad, the tenants were friendly and it was quiet. The only issue I had was the incompetent manager! The Rvs they rent need to be cleaned in a major way inside and out! I vacuumed the day after we got there and the vacuum was full of what looked like pet hair. The trailers aren't near as nice as advertised.
